Pyramids of Giza & Museum

We will pick you up from the hotel at around 3 a.m. and drive straight to Cairo. About halfway we take a break and then the journey continues to Cairo.

Around 9 a.m. we arrive in Saqqara to visit the step pyramid, the oldest stone structure in human history.

Then we drive on to Dahshur Pyramids and get an answer to the question why King Snefru had a bent pyramid built and commissioned his builder to build the very first real pyramid in the immediate vicinity.

We leave Dahshur Pyramids and on the way to Pyramids of Giza we enjoy a tasty lunch in a garden restaurant, rich with Egyptian specialties.

Now is the crowning moment for the day; we visit the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mekerinios.

In the end the tour  we look the Sphinx in the eye and hope that she will tell us something about the several millennia-old historical events.

After an eventful day we make our way back to Hurghada. We are back at the hotel at around 9 p.m.
